The Key Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Act as the first point of contact for your assigned cohort, providing strong pastoral support and promoting a culture of high expectations.
2. Deliver a structured tutorial programme to support academic progress and personal growth.
3. Track student progress, set meaningful SMART targets, and ensure positive outcomes.
4. Collaborate closely with teaching staff, Area Leaders, and support teams to address individual student needs.
5. Promote essential study skills, resilience, critical thinking, and independent learning.
6. Support students through key milestones, including enrolment, UCAS applications, and career progression.
7. Provide clear communication to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success.
What We’re Looking For:
8. Honours degree or substantial relevant experience (Desirable).
9. Level 2 qualifications including English and Maths (Essential).
10. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
11. Ability to engage and motivate young people, fostering a positive learning environment.
12. Effective IT skills and the ability to use technology to support learning.
13. Experience in delivering workshops or group sessions (Desirable).
