As a locum Senior Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality Streetscene and Environmental Services, including waste and recycling, street cleansing, and winter maintenance. Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the daily operations of Streetscene and Environmental Services, ensuring effective delivery across waste collection, recycling, street cleansing, and winter weather services.
* Manage the operational site, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Develop and implement operational plans to achieve service objectives and improve efficiency.
* Motivate and guide a large team of staff, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
* Monitor budgets, resources, and service performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
* Communicate confidently and effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the public to maintain strong relationships and trust.
* Use data and performance insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
* Apply your leadership skills and operational expertise, whether from a waste services, logistics, or facilities management background.
