Job Description:
Head of Propositions - 3PL Logistics
Remote with UK Travel
Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Are you an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain professional interested in joining a Global 3PL?
As Head of Propositions, you will lead the creation and launch of compelling, profitable new propositions in line with business strategy. You will work across multiple stakeholders to ensure all relevant market research, competitor analysis, and customer understanding are carried out to inform solution design, commercial and pricing models, marketing, and contractual/legal requirements of new service propositions.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, passionate about creating new service propositions, experienced in value proposition development, strategy, and delivery, and interested in maintaining knowledge and insights on different market segments and their needs/challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposition and Product Strategy
* Lead and manage the Propositions team
* Define, develop, and deliver new product and service strategies aligned with the company's strategic plan
* Conduct market analysis to support sector strategies, products, and services positioning
* Create value propositions and business cases for multi-capability offerings leveraging existing products
* Support the creation of new propositions derived from sector strategies
Development and Implementation
* Identify and address capability gaps across the business during proposition development
* Partner with the projects team to define scope and requirements for new solutions
* Prepare business cases for new solutions with finance and the product owner
* Develop commercial frameworks and pricing models for all products and services
* Coordinate with marketing to ensure proper marketing and sales materials for new services
Communication and Research
* Present proposals and project updates to senior leadership
* Lead internal engagement to inform the wider business of new propositions before external launch
* Oversee research, internal and external, to support sector strategies and strategic pursuits
Experience:
* Logistics and Supply Chain sector experience, ideally within a Third Party Logistics provider
* Experience in strategy development and delivery
* Experience in developing and launching new services or products
* Experience managing multiple senior stakeholders
* Managing multiple customer-facing programs
* Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Self-starter, resilient, well-organized, confident, detail-oriented
* Analytical and commercially aware
* Flexible, can-do attitude
