Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics & Customer Support Administrator. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient movement of our products, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch ice cream sundries. Your expertise will help streamline our logistics operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily transport bookings and liaise with couriers.
* Invoice and dispatch outgoing orders for delivery.
* Produce and maintain transport cost reports.
* Process transport invoices accurately.
* Handle customer walk-ins with professionalism and efficiency.
* Answer telephone enquiries and process customer orders.
* Manage daily and monthly filing of records.
* Liaise closely with the warehouse team regarding all orders.
* Support administrative duties as required
* Coordinate shipping and receiving processes to optimize efficiency.
* Collaborate with suppliers and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
* Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
* Conduct data analysis to support logistics decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
* Qualifications - Essential
* Minimum Level 2 education – GCSE or equivalent
* Experience using Sage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Minimum 1 years' experience in customer service
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Qualifications - Desirable
* Level 3 education or higher – A levels or higher
* Experience as a Supervisory / Team Leader·
* Proven experience in logistics or supply chain administration
* Knowledge of transportation management systems
* Knowledge/experience in using Power BI tools
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the FMCG industry
