Our client is an Aberdeen-based operator. This role is full-time, based in the office, with a generous holiday allowance. You need full right to work in Scotland / wider UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and implement inspection and monitoring requirements for Pressure Systems, Structural, and Pipeline Written Schemes of Examination; communicate plans to relevant stakeholders.
2. Ensure procedures for topsides pressure systems integrity management are adequately scoped, relevant, effective, and implemented both on and offshore.
3. Regularly review and audit procedures and documentation within scope, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, codes, and standards.
4. Update Pressure Systems Risk-based Inspection (RBI) assessments and written schemes, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring plans as per IMS procedures.
5. Establish effective inspection contracts to achieve deliverables, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value.
6. Negotiate and agree inspection plans between onshore and offshore teams for seamless delivery.
7. Maintain performance dashboards in PowerBI/MAXIMO.
8. Develop team capability by assessing competence and fostering a culture of ownership and delivery excellence.
9. Promote clear communication and shared ownership between onshore and offshore teams regarding integrity objectives.
10. Define and communicate equipment ownership boundaries (pipelines, structures, rotating equipment, etc.).
11. Develop and maintain integrity interfaces with third-party FPSO contractors.
12. Manage integrity performance standards and monitor FPSO assets accordingly.
13. Ensure timely, cost-effective technical solutions and projects by Technical Authorities and Responsible Engineers.
14. Provide operational technical support to assets and work on operational enhancements.
15. Ensure timely delivery of topsides pressure systems IM cycles, maintaining visibility throughout lifecycle phases.
Functional Job Skills:
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline; Masters and Chartered status preferred.
* Valid survival certificate and offshore medical.
* Expertise in integrity engineering and management fundamentals.
* Leadership skills to develop personnel and lead teams.
* Experience in designing and managing IM policies and systems.
* Understanding of deterioration mechanisms and corrosion prevention.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Knowledge of pressure systems codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Budget management skills.
