Brand Relationship Lead - National Lottery Reaching Communities funded

Purpose of the Role
The Brand Relationship Lead will strengthen Cornwall Pride's sustainability by building and managing relationships with local and national businesses, brands, and sponsors. This role is about opening doors: identifying opportunities, developing leads, and preparing the ground for senior staff to secure long-term partnerships that align with Cornwall Pride's values and vision.
By connecting with businesses who share our commitment to inclusion and visibility, the Brand Relationship Lead will play a key part in ensuring Cornwall Pride can continue to grow as a resilient, community-rooted organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Relationship Development
* Research and identify local and national brands with shared values and potential for partnership.
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of business leads, tracking progress and follow-up actions.
* Initiate contact with prospective partners, setting up conversations and meetings for the CEO/Operations Lead.
* Build and nurture ongoing relationships with existing sponsors and brand supporters.
Sponsorship & Partnership Support
* Support the design and delivery of sponsorship packages that are attractive, ethical, and mutually beneficial.
* Ensure partnership agreements are clear, transparent, and delivered on.
* Gather and present impact information to demonstrate value to brand partners.
Internal Collaboration
* Work closely with the Managing Director to nurture qualified leads and support negotiations.
* Collaborate with the Engagement Lead to align brand partnerships with community-facing activities and messaging.
* Manage internal delivery of partnership agreements.
Communications & Representation
* Represent Cornwall Pride at networking events, conferences, and business forums.
* Act as a professional and enthusiastic ambassador for Cornwall Pride in conversations with the private sector.
* Contribute to external communications (in partnership with the Engagement Lead) that showcase our impact and partnership opportunities.
Person Specification
Essential
* Strong experience in business development, sales, or relationship management.
* Proven ability to generate and nurture relationships with businesses or corporate partners.
* Excellent communication and networking skills, with confidence in approaching new contacts.
* Ability to manage multiple relationships, track progress, and work to targets.
* Commitment to Cornwall Pride's mission and values around equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Desirable
* Experience of sponsorship, CSR, or brand partnerships in a charity/community setting.
* Knowledge of Cornwall's business landscape and/or national CSR programmes.
* Experience of producing or supporting sponsorship/partnership proposals.

Contract Details
* 8 hours a week, payroll.
* Primarily remote, with some in person team meetings. Flexibility to manage your own hours to deliver agreed outcomes.
* Travel across Cornwall required.
* Salary circa £18 an hour.
