We are looking for a Finance Director to join us at a pivotal stage of regional and international expansion. This is a key leadership role that will drive the financial strategy, planning, and operational effectiveness of the business. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute business growth strategies with clear financial insight, rigor, and forward-thinking control.
You will also be responsible for:
Strategic Finance Leadership
* Define and drive financial strategy aligned with company growth goals.
* Serve as a key business partner to the CEO and functional leads across retail, e-commerce, marketing, and operations.
* Oversee long-term financial planning, including scenario modeling and capital allocation.
Financial Management & Analysis
* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the business.
* Monitor financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
* Build and oversee dashboards, KPIs, and internal reporting to support data-driven decisions.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
* Ensure financial operations are fully compliant with local and international accounting standards.
* Lead risk management, audit preparation, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
* Maintain and enhance internal control systems and financial policies.
Team Development & Operational Excellence
* Build, coach, and lead a high-performing finance team.
* Streamline financial systems, tools, and workflows to support scale and efficiency.
* Own ERP implementation and other finance digitalization projects.
Business Partnering & Commercial Insight
* Provide financial leadership in pricing, promotions, product launches, and retail performance.
* Evaluate investment opportunities, new market entries, and cross-border expansion from a financial lens.
* Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial teams.
We would want to speak with you if you are / have –
* A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or certifications such as CPA/CFA is a strong plus.
* 8+ years of experience in financial management, including strategic planning and team leadership — preferably in consumer goods, retail, or high-growth environments.
* A strong track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence.
* Deep understanding of FP&A, financial reporting, compliance, and controls.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial matters into clear insights.
* A hands-on, proactive, and collaborative leadership style.
