What you will do:
Chair in-person child protection conferences and statutory child in care reviews, ensuring every meeting is child-centred and focused on achievable plans.
Travel to meet children as per statutory guidance, ensuring their voices are at the forefront of decision-making processes.
Analyse and evaluate information effectively with superb written and oral communication skills; negotiate with colleagues to drive the best outcomes for children.
Challenge and scrutinise Local Authority actions, using restorative practice and the escalation process to enhance planning and outcome quality.
Monitor children in care through oversight and scrutiny of their Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), Personal Education Plans (PEPs), and Health Assessments.
Contribute to quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to service and inter-agency standards, policies, and procedures.
