An Insolvency specialist is sought by a long-established heavyweight firm that has grown substantially over recent years to almost 400 staff. This firm, recognized as one of the region’s leading names, boasts high-profile hires, modern offices, and a culture supporting home working three days a week, even before the pandemic.
The firm aims to expand its successful insolvency team, which is both Legal 500 and Chambers recommended. This is a unique opportunity for a 1+ year PQE Insolvency Lawyer to assist in growing the insolvency practice, particularly developing the non-contentious insolvency offering and shaping the future direction of the team.
The Insolvency Team acts for insolvency practitioners, companies, and individuals (including directors, partners, sole traders, creditors, debtors, bankrupts, and their spouses). The work is primarily based in the East of England but also extends further afield, covering a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency issues.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a caseload of insolvency work, including non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. While not essential, holding the JIEB qualification would be advantageous.
