3 Months +
Day Rate - £500 - £750p/day
Umbrella Engagement
We are looking for a Bid Support Writer, you will manage and develop high-quality proposal responses for complex, high-value tenders across government, defence, and other highly regulated or technical sectors.
* Experience: Extensive experience managing end-to-end proposal development, with a strong track record of securing high-value contracts (typically £1M+), ideally within highly regulated or technical sectors such as government, defence, aerospace, or similar industries.
* Technical Writing: Ability to quickly understand complex technical information—such as systems integration, software services, or operational delivery models—and present it clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of formal bid and proposal management methodologies. Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APMP or equivalent) are advantageous.
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to lead contributions from senior stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
* Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with experience producing high-quality, professionally formatted proposal documents.
