Haxey C of E Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The post is permanent and part time. The grade is to - £18, - £19, gross per annum (30 hours per week).
We are looking for someone who can provide the love, care and support our children need, as well as carrying out interventions to support with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is essential; however, training and ongoing support will be provided for the successful candidate.
Working hours – 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday –, including 30 minutes for lunch (term time only plus 5 training days)
The successful applicant will have:
· An understanding of EHCPs.
· The knowledge of how to support pupils with additional needs.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Be able to work as part of team as well as using your initiative.
· Be willing to adapt and be flexible to changing circumstances.
