An opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their existing team has arisen.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Belfast.
Job Purpose
To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and additional works/emergencies in accordance with contract requirements on Fire & Security Systems.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Perform PPM according to schedules, maintaining engineering standards to maximise system effectiveness and reliability.
* Adhere to engineering standards and Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Fire & Security Systems.
* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
* Coordinate initial responses to client requests.
* Manage visits from specialist subcontractors for Fire & Security Systems tasks.
* Respond to call-outs, breakdowns, and emergencies as required.
* Diagnose faults during PPM or reactive maintenance.
* Assist other trades as necessary.
* Manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Provide reports on work and equipment as needed.
* Undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the client.
* Proactively seek opportunities to grow the contract through system upgrades, replacements, and project work.

Job Requirements:
Essential
* Fire & Security Apprenticeship or recognised equivalent
* Health and Safety Training
* GCSEs (or O Level) in Maths and English or equivalent
* Experience in maintenance duties, fault diagnosis, and preventative tasks
* Full experience in fire alarm systems with certification
* Experience with IP and analogue CCTV
* IPAF trained and holding a valid Chapter 8 ECS card
Desirable
* City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent
* Experience in IT & Networking
* Supervisory experience for future development
