We are seeking a Structural Designer for a 4-month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey

Purpose of the Role
As senior designer, you will be supporting the lead designer, liaising with other disciplines, client and vendors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
Core Responsibilities
4. Civil and Structural Designer with a formal qualifications
5. Minimum experience of 10 years
6. Proficient in the use of Smart Plant 3D and be able to provide advice / Guidance to junior designers
7. Ability to manage a team of designers located overseas
8. Creation of project specific job notes, guides and training material to support consistent deliverables
9. Organising schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines
10. Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestones
11. Competence in the use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
12. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they arise
13. Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
