Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer, Woking
Engineering Systems Design Ltd (ESD Ltd) is seeking a graduate mechanical building services design engineer to join our growing practice. Established in 2009, we bring together experienced engineers in building services engineering, working on projects worldwide across various sectors including commercial, research, residential, retail, and utilities.
Our services include pre-development utility studies, energy studies, expert reports, and construction management, with a focus on environmentally-friendly building solutions. We collaborate with high-profile clients locally, nationally, and internationally, supporting businesses and organizations toward net-zero goals using advanced modelling software. Role Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of assigned project work, primarily focusing on commercial, public sector, and hospitality projects.
* Assist senior leadership in project planning and resource management.
* Support the design team with technical project aspects.
* Collaborate with related engineering disciplines to deliver technical support.
* Produce detailed engineering designs using DesignBuilder, Designmaster, AutoCAD, and Revit, adhering to standards including energy efficiency and low or net-zero carbon requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
* BEng or MEng degree qualification.
* At least 2 years of postgraduate experience in design consultancy.
* Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a demonstrated 'can-do' approach.
* Confident in client and internal interactions, supporting colleagues and projecting a professional image.
* Flexible approach to adapt to changing project and market conditions.
