Job Description
Your role will involve working closely alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Assist in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
* Perform risk, value management and cost control during projects.
* Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.
* Assist in establishing client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
* Work closely with the construction team to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
* Assist in the negotiation of contracts and work schedules.
* Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities.
* Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or experience in the role already
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
* Good understanding of building regulations and legal guidelines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
