We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent community pharmacy based in Hersham. This busy and patient-focused pharmacy offers a wide range of NHS and private services, including travel health, vaccinations, and clinical consultations. They are now looking to expand their team with a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately and in line with legal and professional requirements.
* Support the pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
* Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving deliveries.
* Provide excellent customer service and advice on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines where appropriate.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of additional pharmacy services such as travel health, vaccinations, and minor ailment schemes.
* Maintain clear and accurate records in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Ensure the dispensary is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) – essential.
* Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting – highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive and flexible attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
