Job Description:
Our client is an International Freight Logistics and Express Courier Specialist based in Heywood in search of a Business Administrator.
Our client offers a great chance for a Business Administrator with an interest in IT to sink their teeth into a new role performing administrative duties and offering support across other departments, in particular, the Tech Team.
What you can expect:
1. Salary of £23,-£24, (DOE)
2. Fully office based role
3. 35 Hours per week between 7am-7pm
4. 25 Days Holiday
Role Purpose:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Business Administration Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of business and support the team in achieving our goals.
Responsibilities:
5. Provide administrative support to various departments within the company, including but not limited to, managing correspondence, communicating via email and telephone.
6. Use of IT skills to assist the Tech Team whenever needed.
7. Responsibility for credit control and operations administration.
8. Monitor and process supplier invoices and statements and liaise with suppliers on a range of issues.
9. Raise sales invoices and ensure timely dispatch.
10. Prepare statements and chase outstanding debts as-well as processing employee expenses.
11. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the organization.
12. Ensure all client queries are seen to and actioned in a timely manner and before the deadline.
13. Maintain company vehicle records
Qualifications and Skills:
14. Excellent IT skills.
15. Knowledge of MS Outlook.
16. Sage knowledge desirable but not essential.
17. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
18. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
21. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
