Working hours per week: 37.50
Pay rate: £12.86 per hour

CareTech Community Services is a national provider of support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illness and neurological conditions. We support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in residential care. Responsibilities
* Provide person-centered care to adults with complex needs
* Support individuals to live independently and engage in daily activities
* Observe and respond to changing needs; support wellbeing and safety
* Work as part of a team while also able to work alone when required
* Promote a positive and empowering environment for service users
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a caring environment
* Experience of working with adults with autism
* Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
* Able to work unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays
* Excellent communication skills to engage with service users
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Confidence to work independently and as part of a team
* Passionate about making a positive difference in someone’s life
* Excellent writing skills
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK
* We are unable to consider skilled or student visa applicants for this opening
* Successful candidates will complete an enhanced DBS disclosure; the employer covers the disclosure expense

What we do
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider offering homes that are specialist mental health services with person-centered care. We develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs, providing educational, recreational, and social activities in thriving communities. We measure outcomes to individual needs using a person-centered outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment, the cost of which is covered by the employer.
