We are looking for a part-time practice accountant to join our friendly team during this exciting period of growth for the company

This practice accountant role would suit a qualified accountant with previous practice experience who is able to work efficiently within a small and growing team with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
About the team
The Atek team is a friendly bunch who all work to add value to every part of the business, providing our clients with top-notch service. The team provides compliance work, bookkeeping, and value-added services, including on-going support, to ensure clients are provided with information relevant to their business. The new practice accountant will be based in Weybridge and will report directly to the practice director.
What you will be doing
As one of our practice accountants, you will be responsible for communicating and working directly with your assigned clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Monthly management accounts and client-specific reports
* Forecasting and modelling as required for our clients
* Managing the preparation of statutory accounts
* Dealing with HMRC queries
What you bring
You have a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar).
* You have a strong accounting background to understand and support businesses.
* You have strong commercial awareness and skills.
* You have clear verbal and written communication skills in order to retrieve and communicate specific information internally and externally.
* You have strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
Added bonus if you have
* Experience with Xero and other cloud-based solutions
