Your mission We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for a driven finance professional looking to further develop their expertise within the financial services industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the review and finalisation of financial reporting for a portfolio of investment funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to clients. Your key responsibilities will include: Reviewing and finalising accounting deliverables prepared by trainees and accountants, including daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping. Preparing and reviewing annual and interim financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS. Managing reporting timelines to ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Performing and reviewing complex reconciliations, accounting adjustments, and technical calculations. Acting as a primary point of contact for clients on operational and reporting matters. Supporting Assistant Managers and Managers during audits, regulatory reviews, and technical assessments. Providing guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to junior team members. Assisting in the preparation and review of investor reporting and capital activity statements. Ensuring full adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your profile What we’ll look for on your CV: Partly or fully qualified accountant status (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with 2-4 years’ relevant experience, ideally within accounting or financial services. Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Bob Sage, Geneva, Investran, or similar) is a plus. Sound knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS reporting standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skill. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset with the confidence to support and develop junior colleague. Adaptability, resilience, and a continuous learning approach.
