Our client is a UK manufacturer of high-quality branded consumer goods which is committed to innovation, sustainability and British engineering. Established for 50 years and having recently won a major national award for its latest groundbreaking product, they wish to appoint a determined, committed and driven Production Manager to improve efficiency and output.
As Production Manager, you will:
Report directly to the Operations Director
Oversee daily production to meet demand and achieve QA/QC targets
Guide a team of six team leaders and 50 indirect reports to maximise productivity
Increase production volumes while maintaining quality standards
Embed a culture of continuous improvement
Identify procedures and technologies to reduce overheads and improve yield
Recruit, train, motivate and manage the best talent available
Liaise with senior management and other department heads to resolve issues and reach company goals
