Description Job summary As Site Supervisor you will plan, co-ordinate, undertake and manage health and safety, site inspections, quality & compliance checks for various works and projects in the Port Estate. The primary role will be the co-ordination and supervision of projects and/or small works liaising with Stakeholders and Project Managers. You will ensure works are undertaken in line with Contract requirements, Best Practices, Port of Dover standard details and scheme specifications checking and ensuring works are to the required quality and to programme. You shall uphold and set a good example of safe working practice ensuring compliance to applicable health & safety construction legislation, standards and/or guidance. Skills and Qualifications HNC or HND in Construction related discipline or demonstrable relevant experience Extensive experience of supervising & undertaking varying construction related projects, Contractors and Employees Experience as a ‘Supervisor’ under the NEC3 suite of contracts A demonstratable understanding of CDM and H&S regulations Strong background liaising with Engineering Contractors, Consultants and Clients Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS / SSSTS) (desirable) Proficient user of AutoCAD (desirable) Hold a valid UK driving license and have use of own vehicle Benefits 5 weeks annual leave bank holidays (pro rata) Generous contributory pension scheme Discretionary annual bonus scheme Private Health Care Life assurance Employee assistance programme 3rd party discounts Cycle to work scheme Benefits and reward platform Free Parking Employee volunteering scheme Salary: Up to £39k DOE All offers of employment are subject to us obtaining satisfactory references (covering all education, training, employment and unemployment in the preceding 5 years) and there will be a pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test.
