Main Purpose of Role
The purpose of this role is to produce high quality professional and business focussed policies, procedures and wellbeing solutions to support organisational performance.
The role will support the Policing Pledge in embedding people solutions across the workforce through interpretation of legislation and identification of best practice into our workforce policy and procedure ensuring projects and solutions respond to the changing demands of the organisation.
The job holder will work with our small wellbeing team to design, develop, and implement wellbeing initiatives to support our workforce and deliver our Wellbeing Strategy and strategic priority to develop a workforce fit for the future.
Working with others the post holder will have well developed communication skills with the ability to develop successful working relationships and be able to advise, influence and negotiate on a broad range of HR subjects at all levels.
Key Skills & Experience Required
MCIPD Qualified or equivalent experience to perform the main duties of the role.
Extensive, relevant and successful delivery of generalist HR services.
Experience of developing and implementing people policies and/or wellbeing initiatives.
Knowledge and experience of developing and delivering HR products and services in a complex organisational environment including the translation of legislation and business cases into achievable plans.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment law, diversity & equality, wellbeing and organisational performance.
