Role Purpose
The Director of Mi-Health will lead the strategic growth, operational delivery, and innovation of our digital health solutions. The role requires a proven leader with deep knowledge of the NHS primary care landscape, including General Practice workflows, funding models, and technology adoption. The Director will work closely with GP Practices, Health Boards, and wider stakeholders to expand Mi-Health's reach and ensure clinical, financial, and operational value is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
* Set and deliver the vision for Mi-Health in line with Group strategy.
* Identify growth opportunities, new service models, and digital innovation in primary care.
* Act as the division's ambassador with NHS, GP federations, Health Boards, and other partners.
Business Development & Partnerships
* Develop strong relationships with GP Practices, Primary Care Networks, and Clinical Directors.
* Lead bids, tenders, and commercial negotiations for digital health contracts.
* Build strategic alliances with suppliers, tech innovators, and policy makers.
Operational Oversight
* Ensure services are delivered to SLA and quality standards (particularly for NHS contracts).
* Oversee compliance with relevant clinical governance, data protection, and security frameworks.
* Monitor performance metrics, budgets, and resource allocation.
Innovation & Transformation
* Shape Mi-Health's product roadmap with input from clinicians, patients, and IT specialists.
* Support integration of digital health solutions into GP workflows.
* Champion continuous improvement and future-proofing of services.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven leadership at Director/Head-of level in healthcare or digital health.
* Strong track record of working with GP Practices and NHS primary care stakeholders.
* Understanding of NHS funding, contracting, and policy environment.
* Commercial acumen: experience in business development, tendering, and service scaling.
* Knowledge of digital health technologies and their clinical application.
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
* Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability.
Desirable
* Clinical background (e.g., practice management, nursing, or allied health) with digital health transition experience.
* Experience in ISO-accredited environments, data governance, and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
* Familiarity with UK health structures and procurement frameworks.
