Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher looking to make a profound impact on the lives of students who need it most? GSL Education is seeking an experienced 1:1 Teacher to work with Looked After Children (LAC) and students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in South Yorkshire.

The Role
As a 1:1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized education and support to Looked After Children and students with SEMH needs. Your dedication and expertise will help these students overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored one-on-one instruction to students, focusing on their unique educational and emotional needs
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) to support student progress
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to relevant stakeholders
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that addresses both academic and emotional development
* Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and school staff, to provide comprehensive support
* Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with Looked After Children and students with SEMH needs
* Strong understanding of the challenges faced by LAC and SEMH students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable students
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
