You will join one of the UK’s leading financial services companies, who have built their success by putting people at the heart of their organisation by identifying and delivering products and services that are right for their customers. Due to major ongoing projects, my client is looking for a Senior PMO to join their Delivery Management team to facilitate and support multiple delivery disciplines within the portfolio. You will work in close collaboration with distributed and central PMO teams to support effective change delivery. This is an exciting time to join the team on a key core banking programme where you will start from the early phases of the programme and be very influential. Although this is a 12 months FTC, there is a strong possibility the position will be moved into a permanent role or be extended.
Main responsibilities
* Support delivery of strategy by maintaining and adhering to governance and process standards
* Work collaboratively with central PMO to help define and establish ART data set
* Engage with key stakeholders
* Identify, manage and ensure mitigation of portfolio level dependencies, risks and issues
* Oversee the framework to measure performance
Requirements
* Strong PMO experience, along with setting up a PMO from scratch for a large portfolio
* Experience working on a multi-million pound portfolio
* Previous experience planning and organising. Knowledge of delivery control frameworks such as risk management, dependency management and delivery frameworks
* Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
* Financial services industry experience
* Experience managing and supporting junior colleagues
* Salary up to £65,000 + up to 20% bonus
* Hybrid working - 1 to 2 days a week in the office
