Location: Wakefield / South Barnsley Area (Commutable from Leeds, Sheffield & Doncaster)
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 + TLR (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (3 Days Classroom / 2 Days Leadership)
Are you a brilliant teacher with a heart for inclusion? We are seeking a dynamic educator to join a high-performing, one-form entry primary academy in a unique "bridge" role. This position is designed for an experienced practitioner who loves being in the classroom but is ready to exercise their strategic influence as a SENDCo.
The Role: A True 3/2 Split Unlike many leadership roles that force you to squeeze administrative duties into your lunch break, this role provides two full, dedicated days per week to lead SEND strategy and support.
3 Days (Classroom): Inspiring a Key Stage 2 class, delivering a rich National Curriculum, and fostering a genuine love of learning.
2 Days (Leadership): Leading the SEND provision, shaping bespoke intervention programmes, and working with a close-knit team and external agencies to ensure every child thrives.

What we are looking for:
Full QTS and a proven track record of teaching within the Primary phase.
Experience in supporting SEND learners within a mainstream setting.
A collaborative leader (or aspiring leader) who can communicate effectively with parents and multi-disciplinary teams.
Someone who puts "Students First" and is passionate about breaking down barriers to learning.
