Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Meridian is working with a well-established MEP and Building Services company near Bradford that is expanding its team after many successful years. Specialising in full M&E fit-outs, you will manage larger commercial and light industrial contracts. Past projects include schools, warehouses, care homes, apartments, offices, hospitals, and health centres.
As they grow their management team, they seek a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee high-value, large projects such as hospitals and industrial fit outs. If you are a Mechanical Project Manager with experience on large, multi-million-pound fit outs at a senior level, and you seek a role where you can own projects from start to finish while earning bonuses, this could be the role for you.

Requirements for this role:
* Up-to-date Mechanical qualifications, e.g., CSCS, NVQs
* SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
* Experience in project management and senior leadership roles
* Managed multi-million-pound, large-scale commercial and/or industrial fit outs
* Experience with commercial fit outs, including 1st and 2nd fix, mechanical building services, HVAC systems, etc.
Duties will include:
* Owning Mechanical fit outs on projects like hospitals, warehouses, and health centres
* Overseeing and coordinating fit-out phases, including planning, estimating, pre-contracting, and handover, aligned with project timelines
* Collaborating with other Project Managers to coordinate labour and providing updates to senior management
* Working closely with on-site Mechanical Engineers and subcontractors to meet deadlines and resolve challenges, ensuring efficient, cost-effective services for clients
* Ensuring effective communication with supervisors and managers across teams and supply chain
* Supporting Surveyors, Estimators, and Pre-Contractors with financial forecasting
* Maintaining and developing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities
