We are in search of candidates with flexible availability Monday-Sunday. Our deli is open 8am-5.30pm Monday-Saturday and 9am-3.30pm on Sunday. Weekend availability is essential, shifts will change weekly.
We are looking for a candidate with a willingness to learn new skills. This is a great opportunity for anyone starting in the industry or looking for a better work-life balance.
Kitchen experience is preferred but not essential, training will be provided. We do require applicants to be over 18, in order to work with the necessary machinery, and have a valid Level 2 in Food Hygiene.
Core responsibilities will include:
* Food preparation
* Various cleaning jobs
* Cooking and preparing various food items
* Managing stock rotation
* Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
* Assisting the chefs with day to day activities
* Organising food storage
* Labelling food and ingredients correctly
* Unpackaging deliveries
This is for a role working within a small team in a family run business, hard work is rewarded with room for pay progression. Minimum wage is a starting point, pay is per week.
28 days holiday, including Bank Holidays, we are open Bank Holiday Sundays and closed Bank Holiday Mondays.
