Test Analyst – Mobile/Web - Graduate/Junior Level – Now hiring!
We’re working with a household name within the UK, who are looking for a Graduate/Junior Test Analyst to join a growing team.
Any experience around Testing would be ace, but they are very open to fresh graduates with a desire to get into the industry, who has a Computer Science/IT degree.
It’s a brilliant time to get on board, with the company 2 years into a 5-year digital transformation. This year they are rolling out a new mobile application and next year launching AI and Machine learning into the business.

What you'll be getting up to:
Test Planning and Preparation:
* with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
* comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications and user stories.
* testing methodologies and best practices to ensure thorough test coverage.
Execution of Test Cases:
* test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools.
* functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
* test results and report defects using designated bug tracking systems.
Test Environment Setup and Maintenance:
* test environments to simulate real-world conditions and facilitate accurate testing.
* and maintain test environments to ensure consistency and reliability throughout the testing process.
Collaboration and Communication:
* closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
* test progress, findings, and recommendations to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* in team meetings, stand-ups, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and insights for improving product quality.
Continuous Improvement:
* up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing tools to enhance testing methodologies and techniques.
* identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the QA team.
