In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently programming a wide variety of highways maintenance works, managing the permit process, and scheduling repairs for safety defects. This is a key position that ensures smooth coordination between teams and timely delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare highways maintenance programmes in collaboration with depot supervisors and area managers. Plan and coordinate works, identifying efficiency savings where possible. Liaise with inspectors and local highways officers to ensure accurate work order information. Create, monitor, and update street works permits to maintain compliance. Communicate with delivery teams to update progress and adjust schedules. Organise traffic management, advance warning signs, and letter drops. Schedule work orders to mobile devices and ensure productivity while meeting contractual response times. Escalate delays and collaborate across teams to optimise resources.
