This exceptional career opportunity allows you to use your software engineering and embedded skills in a customer-focused environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem solving, working directly with customers, and using their expertise to help deliver real aerospace projects. With opportunities to travel worldwide, you will support major names such as Rolls‑Royce, Airbus, Boeing and Collins Aerospace to perform dynamic software analysis of critical systems and lead the way in high‑tech software automation.
Responsibilities
* Providing expert integration services, consultancy and training for high‑profile customers around the world.
* Technical pre‑sales, helping customers to understand the benefits of our technology, providing demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept work.
* Helping customers to use our tools, offering prompt, accurate and positive responses to support requests.
* Influencing product development by identifying customer needs and helping to translate these needs into commercial tools.
* Working on a wide variety of processors, compilers, debuggers and real‑time operating systems.
You can also expect to be involved in a variety of other activities, including:
* Creating and maintaining technology demonstrators.
* Performing case studies.
* Research and development projects.
* Presenting and exhibiting at shows and conferences.
We're looking for a talented and motivated engineer who enjoys working with customers and solving complex technical problems. You should have both excellent embedded software engineering skills and good interpersonal/communication skills.
Qualifications
* A strong software background with experience of either reliable software, embedded software, or real‑time systems.
* A degree (or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working in a customer‑facing role, with strong written and spoken English.
* Ability to be organized under pressure, prioritize and manage your workload.
Desirable
* Experience with a variety of real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
* Experience with aerospace and/or automotive applications.
* Familiarity with any of DO‑178C, ARINC‑653, DO‑330 or related standards.
