Job Summary
We are seeking an experience and dynamic Data Operations Manager to join our Enterprise Data Solutions team to support our Nexius Intelligence Product suite. This role will be responsible building and managing a team that owns our data quality, governance, and enrichment initiatives, while establishing robust processes for Master Data Management (MDM) and entity resolution. The Data Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and executing the strategy for sourcing and ingesting third-party data at scale, leveraging cutting-edge AI and technological tools to deliver data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of skilled Data Operations Analysts and exemplify an AI-centric and technology-first mindset to ensure scalable and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
* Data Governance and Quality
o Own and implement the data quality and governance framework to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance across the organization.
o Develop and optimize processes for validating, cleansing, and standardizing data from various sources.
o Monitor data quality metrics and establish processes for continuous improvement.
* Third-Party Data Strategy and Management
o Define and execute strategies for identifying, sourcing, and ingesting high-value third-party datasets.
o Manage vendor relationships and ensure proper integration of external data assets at scale.
o Establish robust pipelines to automate third-party data ingestion and validation processes.
* Data Enrichment and MDM
o Lead initiatives to enrich datasets by integrating internal and external data sources to create actionable business insights.
o Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) processes to centralize and streamline organizational data.
o Drive efforts to resolve entity conflicts and ensure consistent data across systems.
* AI and Technology-First Approach
o Leverage emerging technologies and artificial intelligence to optimize data operations and streamline workflows.
o Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance automation, scalability, and data processing efficiency.
o Stay abreast of innovations in AI and data ecosystems and integrate them into our operating model
* Team Leadership
o Manage, mentor, and inspire a small team of Data Operations Analysts, promoting skill development and fostering collaboration.
o Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and ensure resource optimization within the team.
o Create a culture that embraces AI-driven methodologies and analytical innovation.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in data operations, data management, or a related role, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
* Experience within Financial Services and ideally previous exposure to private markets
* Proven track record in implementing robust data governance processes and demonstrable experience of improving data quality at an Enterprise level
* Experience with third-party data sourcing and ingestion at scale.
* Strong expertise in data management tools and platforms such as SQL, ETL processes, and cloud-based solutions.
* Familiarity with AI-driven technologies, machine learning operations, and automation frameworks.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
* Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations.
Education/Certifications
* Bachelors degree in related discipline
* Advanced degree preferred
