Overview
Position Summary:

As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing security activities to protect our gaming and entertainment guests, team members, and property. Your mission? To investigate potential security violations and take corrective actions while delivering exceptional customer service!
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

* Assist the shift manager in maintaining the overall security of the casino, coordinating efforts to safeguard company assets, employees, and patrons in line with Internal Control Submissions and Illinois Gaming Commission rules.
* Oversee assigned security posts, ensuring the safe transfer of money, chips, and jackpots, while performing hopper fills, table fills, and table credits.
* Train, evaluate, and recommend disciplinary actions for security officers.
* Patrol the premises to deter inappropriate behavior and take necessary actions when required.
* Write detailed investigative and incident reports.
* Address individuals without a Commission Badge in non-public areas or unauthorized zones.
* Assume overall responsibility for security operations in the absence of the Security Director.
* Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to all Illinois Gaming Regulations.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge Of:
* Computer applications for composing clear, concise, and accurate reports.
* Licensing and certification requirements per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
* County and state ordinances.
* Electronic, video, and alarm systems.
* CPR training and investigative procedures.
* Maintaining extreme confidentiality.
Ability To:
* Work various events with flexible schedules.
* Read and comprehend documentation, training materials, and policies.
* Assist sick or injured guests and team members.
* Communicate courteously and effectively with guests and team members at all levels.
* Utilize tools and equipment such as radios and computers.
* Stand for extended periods.
* Communicate clearly in English with guests in a professional manner.
* Adhere to Hard Rock Casino's established policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.)
* A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience. A combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Two years of progressive experience in security operations and supervisory experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements
* Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission regulations.
* Successful completion of a background check is required.
* Prior experience in the gaming industry is strongly preferred.
* Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
* Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification and pass Blood Borne Pathogen training.
* Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
* Experience in opening new properties/outlets is a plus!
