I am currently recruiting for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing and evolving accountancy practice in East Devon on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparing accounts for various business types (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders)
* Contribute to tax compliance tasks, such as corporation tax return preparation
* Support clients with accounting and tax enquiries
* Help with audit processes under the supervision of a qualified accountant
* Manage bookkeeping for clients and prepare VAT returns
* Advise clients on improving their accounting systems
* Maintain a strong understanding of current accounting standards and best practices
* Continuously develop technical skills through on-the-job experience and professional qualifications
Key Skills:
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
* Experience with accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Time management and organisational skills
Qualifications:
* Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or AAT.
