The vacancy We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team at the I54 Wolverhampton site. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, managing the control of process input variables, and driving continuous improvements in product quality and process performance. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Be Doing Analyse customer complaints and internal rejects, performing robust root cause analysis and managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Track and report quality concerns, ensuring visibility and timely resolution. Monitor and inspect production processes to verify that quality standards are consistently achieved. Analyse process and quality data to identify and prioritise areas for improvement. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, including control plans, test plans, and validation protocols. Monitor and control materials and supplies to ensure consistent quality. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain to drive quality improvements. Collect and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality control and process improvement. Support and sustain Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within the manufacturing environment. Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, coordinating and supporting internal audit programs and corrective follow-ups.What You’ll Already Have Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 compliant environment. Demonstrated experience conducting internal audits and managing quality management systems (QMS). In-depth knowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies such as 8D. Ability to establish and maintain systems to ensure process input variables remain in specification. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification advantageous). High level of computer literacy, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems such as EFACS. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organisation. Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
