The Role – Behaviour Mentor
For this Behaviour Mentor role, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils who present with behavioural, social, or emotional needs, including those with ASD and challenging behaviour. You will provide targeted 1:1 interventions, help pupils regulate and remain engaged in learning, and implement behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities include supporting classroom routines, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment. The successful Behaviour Mentor will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive setting where all pupils can develop their confidence, self-regulation, and ability to succeed in school.
