Our client, specialist manufacturer with a multi site operation across Oxfordshire, is seeking a hard working and process driven Health and Safety Coordinator to join a growing team. Reporting to the H&S Manager, the role forms part of a team whose purpose is to maintain compliance with H&S legislation across the business and implement measures to ensure a safe working environment. Health and Safety Coordinator key responsibilities: Uphold and champion excellent Health and Safety standards within a dynamic, evolving business landscape Collaborate with production and engineering departments to analyse intricate workflows and establish appropriate safety protocols Develop and revise organizational risk evaluations, operational procedures, documentation, safety signage, and policy frameworks Coordinate employee training programs through internal resources or external training specialists Schedule and manage compliance audits conducted by both internal teams and external assessors Oversee inventory management of personal protective equipment Maintain current records and documentation for safety equipment servicing and maintenance Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, implementing corrective measures Identify and pursue ongoing enhancement opportunities within safety management systems and processes Health and Safety Coordinator Requirements: Candidates should hold NEBOSH General Certificate qualification A good knowledge of applicable UK safety legislation and general workplace safety requirements is essential.
