Job Type:
Part-time, working 3 days per week from 8.30am-5.00pm. Flexibility required. Contract includes term-time weeks plus 4 additional weeks, with 3 in August for results and staff development.

The Marketing & Communications Officer will be part of the External Relations team, responsible for internal and external communications. The role involves working closely with the Admissions team to support recruitment, retention, and reputation, as well as supporting the Development team and community outreach.
Responsibilities & Duties
PR & Content Creation
* Identify news opportunities, draft and approve press releases, and publish content on various channels.
* Arrange and take photographs, ensuring consent and permissions.
* Maintain a high-quality photo library.
* Coordinate external photography for events and stories.
* Ensure branding consistency across all communications.
* Proofread marketing materials and publications.
Advertising
* Assist in creating print and digital advertising materials.
* Design flyers, posters, and social media adverts for campaigns and events.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
* Create an annual social media plan aligned with key dates and activities.
* Develop content, visuals, and videos using design and editing software.
* Promote student achievements and engage with the community.
* Manage comments and develop new channels like TikTok and BlueSky.
* Monitor analytics and refine strategies accordingly.
* Stay informed about competitors' activities.
Website Management
* Maintain up-to-date content reflecting key information and events.
* Create and organize web content, including videos.
* Post news regularly and update multimedia content.
* Support online profile management.
Design & Print Support Material
* Assist with producing school publications and marketing materials.
* Coordinate with teachers and external printers for quality output.
Event Coordination
* Promote and engage audiences for school events.
* Collaborate with staff to organize open days, performances, and fundraising events.
Person Specification
Experience
* PR or marketing experience.
* Digital marketing and social media management.
* Online and print marketing materials.
* Website content management experience is an advantage.
* Photography interest (desirable).
* Customer and supplier relations experience.
* Graphic design software skills (InDesign, Photoshop).
Skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
