We are looking to recruit a permanent, full-time (37hrs) Social Worker to join our Mental Health Services for Older People Team within Sedgefield Locality Team.
The Team enjoys excellent working relationships with colleagues in Health and other statutory and non-statutory organisations.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As a Social Worker within the Mental Health Services, you will work with older people with mental health needs. You will be part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, including Community Psychiatric Nurses, Medical staff, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers. We encourage a hybrid working pattern with flexible, dynamic, agile, and efficient practices using technology wherever possible.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
It is expected that the successful candidate will have experience working within Adult Social Care, together with up-to-date knowledge of multi-agency working and the adult care agenda.
* Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CSS, or CQSW or equivalent, plus Social Work England registration (or application for registration)
* Willingness to undertake AMHP training and act on the AMHP rota when warranted
This role is customer-facing and requires fluent English communication as per Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
