THG Fluently is currently looking for UK-based freelance Slovak interpreters to support a growing volume of Remote OnDemand telephone interpreting assignments.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for interpreters who are comfortable with flexible, real-time telephone interpreting and are available to receive and accept calls during daytime hours.
About the role:
* Remote telephone interpreting (OnDemand / unplanned calls)
* Flexible freelance arrangement
* Calls handled remotely via our interpreting platform/app
* Primarily community and public sector interpreting
* Opportunity to combine with pre-booked assignments where available
We are especially interested in interpreters who:
* are responsive and reliable during working hours;
* are comfortable handling unscheduled telephone assignments;
* can maintain professional standards in fast-paced interpreting scenarios;
* are based in the UK and have the right to work as self-employed freelancers.
Requirements:
* Fluency in English and Slovak
* Previous interpreting experience preferred
* Access to a stable internet connection and suitable phone/device
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Relevant interpreting experience is advantageous
