Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our Nursing Home Cartref Bryn yr Eglwys, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming.
This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential, as you will interact with our service users and ensure their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in communal areas, and service user's bedrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used correctly and maintained in good condition.
* Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols
* Communicate effectively with service users and members of the caring team
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate clearly with service users and team members. The ability to speak Welsh language is desirable but not compulsory
* Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns professionally.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60-£13.60 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week
