Are you a talented and passionate Sous Chef looking to join a dynamic team? The Eden Bar & Restaurant is seeking a dedicated individual to help us deliver exceptional dining experiences using locally sourced ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
2. Kitchen Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in food preparation, hygiene practices, and knife skills.
3. Waste Control: Monitor portion sizes and waste to maintain profitability.
4. Stock Management: Assist with stock control and ordering processes.
5. Hygiene Standards: Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
6. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop creative menus.
7. Team Leadership: Take an active role in delivering excellent kitchen standards and leading the team by example.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience as a Sous Chef.
2. Passion: A strong passion for cooking and creating great food.
3. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Teamwork: Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills.
6. Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cookery (desirable).
