Sample Operative (Inspection Support Operative) – West Thurrock, Essex, United Kingdom

Responsibilities
* Collect samples from vessels, shore tanks and retail forecourts in line with client and industry standards
* Transport samples and documentation to/from vessels and labs
* Maintain inspection stock and sampling equipment
* Support compliance with safety, health and COSHH standards
* Work closely with the operations and laboratory teams to meet tight client deadlines
Qualifications
* No prior experience required — full training will be provided
* Reliable, hardworking and flexible with a hands-on approach
* Comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
* Flexible and able to work independently to strict timelines
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication, literacy and basic IT skills
Desirable
* Knowledge of COSHH and oil/chemical sampling
* Experience in an industrial or oil & chemicals environment
