About The Role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join our Technical Department and take ownership of product development from concept to certification. What You’ll Do
* Lead product design, development, and testing through to third‑party certification.
* Analyse and optimise manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Keep product specifications and compliance documentation up to date.
* Conduct competitor analysis and recommend innovative improvements.
* Support new product launches across Plumbing & Drainage, and Ariel businesses.
* Ensure compliance with CE, BSI, BBA and other industry standards.
* Deliver training and technical support across teams.

* Strong technical background in product design and development.
* Awareness of British/European/International Standards and compliance processes.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, including statistical process control.

Required Criteria
* Have a good working knowledge of Windows‑based software e.g. Microsoft Office.
* Have a 3rd‑level qualification in a relevant technical subject AND 1 year experience in a relevant technical area OR 3 years experience in a relevant technical area.
Desired Criteria
* High level of proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD packages (Autodesk or similar).
* Proficiency with SharePoint or similar software.
* Knowledge/experience of plastics materials and their manufacturing processes.
* Experience in construction/drainage industry.
