Overview
Lead Clinician position in a team-focused environment that values respect and integrity. You will manage and lead your team to enhance the services we deliver. The role requires you to be a Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge and, ideally, experience in a care home setting. You will support the Registered Manager to drive and maintain social care and nursing standards in line with the Social Care Wales Code of Conduct and NMC Code. The post holder should have exemplary leadership abilities and be willing to take ownership for delivering quality care.
Responsibilities
* Have full knowledge of and follow both the Social Care Wales Code of Conduct and the NMC Code; be accountable for your professional practice.
* Maintain and develop professional knowledge and clinical skills; stay abreast of social and clinical developments in care.
* Lead in ensuring colleagues obtain and share specialist knowledge (e.g., infection control, diabetes, wound care, pressure care, ANTT) and take a lead role in the Home in at least one specialist area.
* Ensure residents\' Care Plans are reviewed regularly and provide assistance/advice as necessary.
* Ensure all Home policies and procedures are adhered to; work with the Registered Manager, HR and Health & Safety Officers to amend where necessary.
* Participate in and contribute to the teaching requirements of the Home.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Adult Nursing Degree / Qualification
* 3 Years+ Leadership / Management experience
* Effective verbal, written, literacy and numeracy skills
* Proven commitment to providing elderly, person-centred care and achieving positive outcomes
* Forward-thinking with up-to-date knowledge on current practices and industry trends
* Positive, flexible attitude and a desire to make a difference
* Understanding of and adherence to Caron Group\'s ethos
Desirable Requirements
* QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services (Adults Residential Management)
* The post holder may be required to work towards this qualification once in employment
* Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE/CertEd; DTLLS/CTLLS/ Level 5 Education and Training
* 3 Years+ experience within the Nursing Home sector
