Job Description
The successful applicant will provide in-depth, professional and pro-active employment law support on a cross business and business specific basis to internal customers (whether HR/Legal or other) across:
3. Employee Relations
4. Trade Union work
5. Policy drafting
6. M&A
7. Tribunal and Contentious matters (both undertaking this directly and managing external advisors)
This advice will be offered both domestically and internationally (with the support of local advisers on matters outside of the UK).
The Successful Applicant
You will be a fully qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with a proven track record in providing practical guidance and advice to HR, legal, and other departmentsThere is no fixed PQE for this role but based on the structure of the Team as well as the work and remuneration on offer, you'll likely be between 5 and 10 years PQE You will have solid experience in employment law from a reputable law firm or relevant in-house position (experience of Trade Union related work is not a pre-requisite but it will be looked upon favourably)This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate being in the office in Surrey at least 2 days per week.
