Conference and Events Duty Manager - Kia Oval | Full-Time / Permanent£32,500 excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days\' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.We\'re seeking a confident and organised Conference and Events Duty Manager to join our collaborative team at Kia Oval - the iconic home of Surrey County Cricket Club and one of best conference venues in London! In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all conference and events catering, hospitality, and bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail across match day and non-match day conferences and events.We are Levy Levy is about elevating experiences. Conference and Events Duty Manager - the roleOverseeing the planning and delivery of all Conference and Events operations, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail across every event.Collaborating the Sales team and creating a welcoming environment on-site for clients and guests.Partnering with the Culinary team to maintain outstanding food presentation and service standards.Leading weekly function sheet meetings to align internal teams on event plans.Using your positive leadership style to manage and train the Events Team including producing staff rotas in collaboration with the Head of Conference and Events.Coordinating with the Kia Oval reception team to ensure event signage, paperwork, and administrative materials are prepared and distributed in advance.Monitoring till operations, oversee bar closures, and ensure the secure handling of cash and stock.Overseeing all catering setups, working closely with the hospitality logistics team to ensure conferences and events are set according to function sheets and SOPs.Maintaining stock levels and ensure all catering equipment is in good working order, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.What we\'re looking forProven experience in conference, events, or hospitality managementA passion for hospitalityThe ability to inspire and lead a dedicated conference and events teamExcellent communication skills and a background in developing meaningful client relationshipsA keen eye for detail and a love of organisation - managing multiple prioritiesDue the the nature of this role we\'re looking for someone who is able to flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and match daysWhat you\'ll get in returnCompetitive salary with bonus and full company benefits23 days\' annual leave plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and a holiday purchase schemeHealthcare & wellbeing: Aviva Digicare, Medicash (dental, optical, therapy treatments)Mental health support: 24/7 Employee Assistance ProgrammeFamily benefits: 2 days' additional leave after returning from maternity leave, day off for your baby's first birthday, enhanced family leavePerks & discounts:Shopping, entertainment, and travel discounts, 20% off Nuffield Health and 10% off PureGym membershipsFinancial wellbeing: Pension scheme, Life Assurance, preferred rates on salary finance productsDevelopment opportunities: Professional subscriptions, ongoing training and structured career pathwaysMeals on duty includedWhy Join Us?
