Cleaner
Location: Dinwiddy House, Kings Cross, London, N1 9NF
Salary: £13.43 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, 9am to 5pm
Contract: Temporary 4-month contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team as a General Assistant at Dinwiddy House, London. Your responsibilities include providing high-quality cleaning and domestic services in student accommodation, maintaining a clean and friendly environment at all times.
During move-out/move-in periods, you will assist with clearing vacant flats and preparing rooms for new students.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Providing high-quality cleaning services for kitchens, bedrooms, and communal areas.
2. Preparing rooms for guests, including clearing, cleaning, and bed making.
3. Being a friendly presence on-site, guiding students to the office for assistance.
4. Identifying and reporting hazards and faults to maintain safety.
5. Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying your team leader when stock is low.
6. Completing scheduled tasks across the site.
Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in general cleaning or housekeeping.
2. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements.
3. Experience working to deadlines and prioritising tasks.
4. Basic knowledge of operating cleaning machinery.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
7. Ability to follow written instructions and maintain simple logs.
8. Basic computer skills, including online training participation.
