Role Overview
The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Music Technician to support the delivery of music lessons, rehearsals and performances.
The successful candidate will assist teachers and students with equipment, recording technology and performance preparation.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about music and audio technology who enjoys working in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing music classrooms and rehearsal spaces for lessons
• Maintaining instruments and ensuring equipment is stored safely
• Supporting students during rehearsals and performances
• Managing music technology equipment including microphones and mixers
• Assisting with recording and editing of student performances
• Supporting concerts, school productions and musical events
• Organising sheet music, resources and instrument storage
• Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and technical requirements
• Ensuring music technology software and equipment remain operational
• Supporting students with recording and composition projects
• Helping maintain rehearsal schedules and equipment bookings
• Ensuring rehearsal spaces remain organised and safe

Requirements
